With the closing of November, I bring you S&S vol. 2.04, which is a collection of new music, which I have stumbled upon through the month. It includes everything from unreleased Wings demos to The 1975's new album, which was just released today. As always, I hope that you find a song or two that you like. I mostly do these things as a musical archive for myself, but I think that some of you may actually enjoy it as well, which is why I keep posting.
PS: Hope that you all had lovely Thanksgivings, and that you are enjoying the Holiday season. I know it gets lonely sometimes, but just remember that you are loved by someone, even if it doesn't feel like it. x

Ciao, you lot! October has arrived and with it chilly temperature (f*ck yeah!), revelations (positive ones), and, of course, new music. Below you will find the latest installment of S&S, which is a compilation of all the new darlings I have stumbled upon during the past month. Like always, I hope you lot enjoy the playlist!
ps: there is a fun little Halloween playlist coming this Saturday to get you in the spooky mood
*insert hackneyed reference to Earth, Wind, & Fire's smash hit, "September" here*
Well, hello, internet. We meet, again, and surprisingly not with a #tbt playlist. Much to my surprise, I actually had enough time today at work to compile a S&S playlist of September's indie darlings (so far). And is is too often the case, the playlist will grow as I discover new tracks throughout the month, but until then, I hope that you find a song or two that you love (or at least fancy a bit). x
Hi, everyone! Long time, no talk (or blog posting for that matter). Anyway, where the hell has July gone? It seems like just yesterday, summer had officially started and we were all filled with summer plans and aspirations. Little did we know then that we would spend the majority of the time working and binge-watching Netflix until our eyes are bleached by the lights of our screens. Maybe we occasionally get out and see concerts, like I did these past 4 days. I finally got to see two defining bands of my teenage year: The XX and The Arctic Monkeys. The tour continues with The Vaccines tomorrow. Maybe, if I ever get a decent photo, I will post some on this blog. Until then, enjoy the next volume of Smoke & Synth. It's some new music to which I have been jamming during the hot summer month of July.
Well, well, well, we have reached the end of the first volume of Smoke & Synth playlists. It's come much later than I had originally anticipated, but I kept adding songs until I reached that sweet 50 mark. Also, if I am being completely honest, I haven't really listened to "new" music in quite a long time, hence why it's been a work in progress for so long. (I have been listening mostly to The Rolling Stone, The Who, Marvin Gaye, and loads of "older" stuff, which is new for me.) Anyway, I hope that you enjoy this playlist because it's pretty reflective of my current listening habits.
